Drilling & Exploration Director

Nesasundaram Rajoo

Nesasundaram’s career reflects a lifetime of discipline, innovation, and operational excellence. With more than four decades in the international oil and gas industry, he is recognized as one of Southeast Asia’s most respected drilling and well-engineering professionals.
He has planned, drilled, and completed more than 600 wells across Malaysia, Qatar, and the US Gulf of Mexico—ranging from onshore fields to deepwater frontiers. A pioneer in horizontal, high-angle, and extended-reach drilling (ERD) across tender, jack-up, and semi-sub rigs, he made history at ExxonMobil Malaysia as the first engineer to successfully drill splitter and bilateral wells in complex formations. Multiple ExxonMobil President’s Safety Awards attest to his zero-LTI track record and his commitment to building safe, high-performance teams.
Operations Director

Tony Harjai

Tony Harjai is a drilling-operations leader and oilfield chemicals specialist with around 16 years of experience serving national and international operators. As founder and lead of Cheematrade Sdn Bhd (CTS), he built an asset-backed supply platform spanning drilling fluids, production and treatment chemicals, and field services—supported by a 45,000 ft² reaction, blending, and warehousing facility near Port Klang, Malaysia.

He pairs rig-side execution with disciplined QA/QC, HSE compliance, and on-time delivery across wells, storage facilities, pipelines, and remediation projects. Tony now drives joint-venture growth in upstream services and chemical supply chains, focusing on high-value partnerships for complex, multi-stakeholder energy projects. His vision emphasizes sustainability, local empowerment, and digital transformation in oilfield operations.
